Fuel Economy.Gov
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S.
Department of Energy (DOE) produce the Fuel Economy Guide to
help car buyers choose the most fuel-efficient vehicle that
meets their needs. EPA compiles the fuel economy data and DOE
publishes them in print and on the Web. This a very interesting

Kelley Blue Book
kbb.com was the number one automotive site in the nation. Over 5
million unique visitors generate some 30 million pricing reports
per month. Perhaps more importantly, it is by far the most
visited site by people who actually bought cars. According to
J.D. Power and Associates' Autoshopper.com studies, 53% of
Internet new car buyers and 55% of used car buyers came to
kbb.com. Kelley Blue Book continues to be the most recognized

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
was established by the Highway Safety Act of 1970, as the
successor to the National Highway Safety Bureau, to carry out
safety programs under the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle
Safety Act of 1966 and the Highway Safety Act of 1966. The
Vehicle Safety Act has subsequently been rectified under Title
49 of the U. S. Code in Chapter 301, Motor Vehicle Safety. NHTSA
also carries out consumer programs established by the Motor
Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act of 1972, which has been
rectified in various Chapters under Title 49.
