The all-new Ford F-150 is rumored to have an all-new Pro Power Onboard! If the all-new full-hybrid engine wasn't enough, then the all-new onboard generator might be the clinching feature! The Onboard generator offers up a variety of power outputs, which are determined by the engine selected. If you're searching for a futuristic, yet classically capable truck, then the new Ford F-150 is a must consider! The Ford F-150 is available in six trim levels, six engine options, and features a whole variety of all-new features and equipment.

Onboard Generator

The F-150 is now capable of turning its engine into a generator! Power output varies by engine, but in general, the more powerful the engine, the more powerful the power output. The base engine features 2.0-kW of power, which can be split between several outlets to provide a maximum output of 2,000-watts. The next power level up is a 2.4-kW output (2,400-watts) and at the top of the output list is a 7.2-kW variant. That's right, drivers can power some seriously powerful tools with the 7.2-kW offering!

Full Hybrid Engine

The all-new F-150 makes a major addition in the powertrain realm, adding in a brand-new 3.5-liter PowerBoost Full Hybrid V8 engine! While the full specs for the new engine have yet to be released, drivers can likely expect power output that falls in line with the rest of the engine lineup. If you look at the previous model year F-150 for hints, then the power will fall somewhere between 375 horsepower and 450 horsepower. However, we'll have to wait for the official release to be certain of exactly how much power the new F-150 PowerBoost Full Hybrid will bring to roads.
